A set of pre-cut parts for final machining and press forming to create the engineered wind turbine.
The engineered wind turbine project involves the construction a small wind turbine capable of generating sufficient current to trickle charge mobile phone batteries etc. The distinctive feature of the project is the use of real engineering components such as ball races and commercial fabrication methods such as elastomeric forming. The project requires a special tool set and press tool unit. Packs of pre–cut consumable materials are also available. For further details of this project and a step by step guide, please see the TEP website at www.tep.org.uk.
